Noriko Sanzou (Older Sister)
Houzuki Sanzou (三蔵法月 Sanzou Hozuki) is a rookie guard assigned to Building 5 of Nanba Prison.
Houzuki has short white hair which rests below his extravagant variation of the guard's hat. He has many piercings on his face, red eyeshadow and lavender eyes. His uniform is white from head to toe and he wears a violet sash around his upper body.

- The kanji "法" means "method", "law","rule"or "Buddhist"; which relates to his outfit. "Zuki" means "moon", or "month". "San" means "three" and "zou" means "store" or "hide".
- his name is taken from Genjou Sanzou a Chinese Buddhist monk from Journey to the West, reinstating his Buddhist outfit.
- This is mentioned again with Houzuki along with Samon, Inori Hakkai is an allusion to journey of the west where Houzuki is the wondering priest.
